Default New Subaru Impreza Concept at the LA Auto Show

http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/17/s...ncept-la-2010/

Quote:
One of the biggest surprises (so far...) of the 2010 LA Auto Show has to be the Subaru Impreza Design Concept that snuck up on us just a few hours ago. Some thought it might be the long-awaited Subota coupe (a close cousin of the Toyobaru, of course), but in reality what we have here is a conceptual sedan that the Japanese automaker claims will heavily influence future models... namely the Impreza, we'd wager.
.
Yes, there's a working 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine bolted to a CVT gearbox behind that shapely new front grille and its massive side vents, but it's the styling we're really intrigued by. To that end, be sure to take a good, hard look at the live shots in our high-res gallery below. If you need all the details, follow the jump for the press release.

I am completely torn on it. It looks good but then its CMON MAN! Too much of a Lexus/BMW/Hyundai look going on

BOOOOOOOOOO!

thats about all i have to say. i like the tail lights. nothing else even looks remotely aggressive or Subaru. it's got a fat chick face, who's been stuffing her face with too much cake to swallow so her cheeks are bulging out.
anyone else see it too or is it just me?

I cant picture that low down and flying round a track, or all dirty on a rally. It's just another blend in japanese import. Imo

No door handles just remind me of ricers. It also looks like something they would use in a transformers movie. I dislike this.

Not that is looks bad, it just doesn't look like a Subaru. It's ironic that Subaru did the Mediocrity marketing campaign and it seems that's the direction they're heading.

Very well stated. Its a great design (mix match of a bunch together) But as a performance car its too luxurious looking, and looks like an everyday car. I will give you 5 dollars if you find a car that looks like the 04-05 impreza.....You wont. They stood out and looked great. And were great.

Yay It's a Scion tc. Look at the roof line. It's identical

The Subaru styling is a bit more aggressive, but this is what I expected the tc to evolve into.

Subaru, give your concept to Scion
