Hi all,

first post here!

pre-ordered a rally blue 2011 WRX sedan from Docksteader a month ago. I was told that I can pick up the car tomorrow. However, I changed my mind and decided to go with a white 2011 STi sedan instead.

I should be picking it up sometimes next week.

It was a tough decision!

But I know if I end up with a WRX, everytime I pull up to an STI, I will regret my decision.

^ don't worry, you won't regret getting an STi!

if you do a search you will probably see how many ppl here has done STi engine swap, tranny + rear diff swap, brembo conversion etc onto WRX or 2.5RS/2.5i (not as many as engine swap on Honda)...it's worth that price diff!

welcome to the board, if you can't make the BBQ meet this sunday, there will be a BBT meet next sunday I think...

How was Docksteader when it came to pricing? Were you able to get anywhere close to invoice?

^ I personally like DD the best in their sales department, maybe because my friend always do his best for me and my friends. There were a couple time RMD beat the price by a little bit but their customer service (in sales department) just turn me off everytime!

have heard good things about Specialty too but unfortunately they couldn't even match my friend's offer to me (not to mention any better)...it's always that game of #s!

Hi Steve,

It's CivicS from IC.

I agree with you about the styling. I'm just never a fan of big wing at the back. Probably will do a WRX trunk swap.

The first thing on my list is the TiC super shift kit!

Hey buddy, long time no see.

I'd like to see what this new sedan looks like from underneath. Do the 08-10' STi springs work with the new chassis? What about swaybars?

I'm actually really excited about this new release. I wonder how much different it is from the last models?

Sorry but that car is FUGLY...Subaru has not made a good looking car in awhile, IMO.

Bring it out to a Friday Timmy's meet when you pick it up. You won't regret getting an STI over a WRX.

I don't know how may people got the wrx and ended up spending more money on WRX trying to bring it up to STI spec. Pay a little now or a lot more down the road. Can't wait to see the 2011 up close.

anyone seen the new STI only Plasma Blue Pearl yet, the colour "sounds" interesting.

Otherwise I like the new sedan but also like my hatch both for different reasons.

one thing tho is the new STI sedan can use all the really nice Legacy GT exhausts.
