Nice! mine looks exactly the same as yours but its pearl white with a trunk spoiler. Have you done anything to it cosmetically or performance related?

Make sure you cover that tag, wouldnt want someone to see it more than people see it everyday on the road. Someone on a forum may look you up and come steal your bone stock 2.5.

I cover mine when posting pics, some people just don't want to post their plate number on the Internet. Sorry it bothers you so much.

And why is that? Do you have it covered when youre driving? It just doesnt make sense to me.

I work in law enforcement and I have access to looking up personal information via tag numbers etc. If something were to happen, whereas the vehicle was vandalized or stolen, it could be backtracked to see all indivduals who looked up that personal information. No one who has legit access would ever risk it for something stupid like that. The people who would will be easily caught.

People are afraid because of Gone in 60 Seconds which is a myth. Random people can't go to the DMV and look up plate number for $5 a pop.

It's stupid.

The worst is when I've had photographers obscure my plates. I have vanity plates. Why would I want something I paid extra for covered up?

Eh, it's just personal preference I guess. Never gave it much thought, nor was scared from a movie myth. To each his own.

the finger covering the plate fad has got to go. No one gives a rats ass about the license plate nor is going to take the time to go look at how much you paid for tabs.

To each it's own I guess. I live in New Jersey where there are areas with high value of cars being taken but they aren't getting technological there old school with it or they just put a gun to your face. I've never heard of anyone going to the dmv. But at the end of the day it's what helps you sleep at night.

Just clayed the whole thing, first time and man it was great. I can't believe how much tar and tiny rocks the clay pulled out, this is a completely dry surface with no wax or polish or detail spray at all. Can't wait to put a heavy coat of wax on it!

I give up on my 2.5i. It was looking good for a while then bam! hit from behind and cracked the bumper. 2 weeks after getting the bumper replaced I was sideswiped by a minivan. Last week I was rear ended by a kid in a Mercedes that didn't even have a license. Not to to mention all the countless dings and dents from when my car has been parked.

Boston is where nice shiny cars go to die.

Does anyone have any suggestions for front license plate relocation kits? I can't find the thread pattern on anything out there so I haven't been able to confirm it fits our tow hooks. I really don't like how high the plate sits on our front cowl and think mixed with a lowered car it will lend to the look well with where the front tow hook is.

Absolute fact. I live just outside the 95 belt and almost all the damage to my car has happened inside it. Got sideswiped by an over zealous avalanche in the rt. 20 gauntlett through Waltham and had a rock thrown through my passenger window in JP (thankfully nothing was stolen, car was empty)

First time ever working with real carbon fiber I think it turned out pretty good.

Heres a quick video of one of my runs at the event on Sunday, it was such an awesome time! I highly suggest one of these weekends, Howard who puts on the school and events does an amazing job.
