Default sti driveshaft and wrx driveshafts, difference?

Hi I am trying to work with a company on desiging some stuff. I have an 04 sti and need a driveshaft to send to them. Is a wrx driveshaft interchangeable or does it have to be off an sti?

Thanks
jay

a WRX AUTO driveshaft is similar length. However the 5mt is NOT the same as the 6speed Sti version.

Default Different

They are different. Lengths might be similar but they are very different. I work for the company that makes both the sti and the wrx driveshafts.

If you work for a company that has the resources to make driveshafts im sure they could give you money to get a driveshaft from subaru

I work for the OEM supplier of the driveshafts, why would I get them from Subaru. I just placed an internal order and had a spare set shipped to me. I'm still working on a spare set of wheel bearings, plus a few other goodies that my company makes on the WRX.
