Post Importing the New WRX?

I know about all the problems importing the US from foreign countries, but what about Puerto Rico? It is US owned and they have the new wrx there now. Would you still need to go thru the emissions/crash worthyness garbage since PR is US owned?

The PR WRX will be the same as yours. The blue WRX in the pics was cought about 4 months ago in the docks. That WRX's final destination: Argentina.

As for importing a car from PR to the US, that wouldn't be a good idea. PR's car taxes are very high.

Political situation correction:
PR is not owned by the US. Puerto Rico in a non incorporated, free-asociated territorry of the US. Bassiclly we get almost every federal aid in exchange of letting the US Navy bomb Vieques and to have a huge submarine base in the eastern part of the island. Oh and almost forgot we don't pay federal taxes.

I think our WRXs are differently. If that one you were near was the PR WRX, then it had sport seats, 17" rims, 4 pots and 215-218hp.

We dont get sport seats, 16" standard, 227HP.

Thanx for answering my q neways.

Matt, he said that the blue Rex in the pics was bound for Argentina, NOT Puerto Rico, it was just in PR on its way to South America.
