I see in the add it will need a paint job, im curious how the rust is on it? Normal spots like the rear wheel wells and such. Any images?

The paint is peeling on the roof, fenders, and doors but as you can see in the pictures, it isn't terrible. There's 10 cans of rattle can already in it. There's rust only on the rear 1/4's, it's been undercoated not long before I bought it. Pinch welds and rocker panels are good. I can send pics via email or text but it's pending sale for Sunday.

2 points to make, one to the OP, one to everyone else.

Op, make sure to post this on rs25.com as well, as they are mostly gc/ gf centric.

Everyone else: rust repair on coupes is fairly easy, because the wheel arch of a front fender is the same radius as a rear quarter. Simply cut a right front fender, and flip it to repair a left rear quarter. And frankly, the rust on this car isn't that bad, at least the rockers aren't rotted out.

Thank you, sir! I thought about posting it on RS25.com but the east coast doesn't seem to be as active as they are here. Hell I should do it anyway >.<

are you confident the body and suspension components are solid. I'm considering this for a rally cross car so it needs to be solid. Dont care about the paint though.

If really want me to, I can try to take a video of the under carriage when the weather get's better. Like I said, it was undercoated not long before I bought it, pinch welds and rockers are good. The suspension is from a '98 forester that may or may not have ever been replaced, but I know none of the struts are blown and none of the coils are broken. I drove it to Fitchburg from Toyota in Lancaster on and off of the highway to ensure it.

I'll take your word for it. Where is the leak in the exhaust?

I never looked for it after I had Mario's fix it after I purchased it. Sounds like the midpipe but it's pretty much one piece now.
