Chump Race at VIR - it's official - Roman and I are bona fide 'racecar drivers'
Roman and I finally strapped it on for real at VIR last weekend.
24 hours later we are much better drivers and still catching up. Check out Roman avoiding the infamous 'Simon' car. And here is our 19th place team (out of 107)

Good stuffs! I chased that purple miata around a bit in the rain, but couldn't keep up at night as well. I ran in the red VW Golf #172.

Also, you would think after what, 12, 14, 16 hours in the car, you would know where NOT to make a bonehead move like that, right? Finishing 19th is nothing to scoff at. Hell, finishing is nothing to scoff at. We will give it a better run next year. |
