These have come down in price, and can be had for 700-800. In that neighborhood. Interestingly enough , the new 2015 model wrx and sti appear to have the same exact trim pieces. I haven't had a chance to compare the two models of trim yet but I'd be willing to bet they are the same.

Thanks, yeah I certainly didn't have to actually remove then but I was able to clean everything that I normally can't get to.

Can anyone confirm this? If this works you would save 700 dollars if you were buying from Rally Sport Direct.

The OEM lip really isn't that expensive and fits better than any lip I've ever used on a Subaru. I'd recommend that in a heart beat. But the price of those side skirts is just laughable.

The 2015 Skirts can be bought for 500 plus tax from your local dealership, which isn't so bad since the oem front lip cost about 350 ish.

So I just came across this ebay listing and was actually pretty shocked.
Ebay link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380979897456...witem=&vxp=mtr

My photo link:

The seller has taken my photo (which I took of my car with the genuine side skirts) and he is using my photo to sell his knockoffs. I never gave permissions to use the photo. I've already messaged him. Will be interesting to see what they say.

Thanks for the step by step! I'll be getting a set when I pick my WRX up from the dealer in a few weeks.

Had the dealer where I purchased my 2015 WRX install the full kit on mine and recently noticed passenger side somewhat loose around the seam between both doors. When I inspected, of course, 2 bolts were missing. I contacted and stopped by dealer to get it fixed and was told Subaru does not sell hardware sets and those bolts only come if you buy the whole part. Told me to find some bolts at a hardware store or they would try and find something "close" to it. I walked out of course....

Anyone know of someone selling them with the rubber-thingy and all or at least a site to go to?

I ended up taking 1 bolt from driver side and swap into the passenger side to help it from sagging and as I knew it, the bolt I took out wasn't even installed right.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You're linking them from dropbox, so either set permission to public (not sure if you can do that) or re-upload to another site.

You can get them for less if you search.

Just installed these, one thing I'll add, the kit comes with cutouts to measure the mounting screws front and rear. So, once you get both in its easy to mark/drill the other 9 or so holes. I took my skirts off as well to clean/wax somewhere I never get the chance to. Quality parts. Nice write up.
