Default Selling College Textbooks

So...I've got about 15 or so books I need to sell to the bookstore.

About seven of them are computer related (i.e. HTML, C++, JAVA ADO.Net etc...) The rest are core classes like History and Government books.

I think about four of the computer books are barely even touched. I know for sure the ADO.net one isn't used at all since I dropped the course early.

Anybody got any predictions on the $$$ payoff from all of this? I'm thinking $50-$70 max.

try screwthebookstore.com....or that might just be a local thing in SLO, but try it anyway you get more then selling it at a bookstore or anything.

edit: I spent over 300 bucks and got back $52, FYI

screwthebookstore.com is just a SLO thing i think...

If you are only getting half, why not sell it at the school bookstore. Both schools I went to always give you half of what you paid. unless of course they no longer use those books, then they would still give you a 1/4 of what you paid at least.

I buy and sell my textbooks on half.com - that way I can at least usually get back what I paid for them when I resell them.

Yep. Half.com is the only way to go when it comes to selling your books.

I need to start using half.com

I spent $850 (I think) this year on books and probably won't get much, if anything for them.

I was pretty darn happy to know some Koreans, Taiwanese and Jordanians that would buy my technical books while they were home over the summer for $7-12 each.
