Default MI: Anybody around AA/Ypsi/Dexter area play Disc Golf?

As the title says. Are there any locals that play disc golf and want to meet up some time to play?

There are lots of courses in the area:

Pioneer High School: Very narrow course, but it'll do.

Hudson Mills Metro Park: Awesome course, I'm not sure how much it is to get in though.

There's one other good one over by King George Blvd.

If anybody is interested maybe we could make it a meet or something.

LOL. I just tried it once for the first time and I actually like it. I need another outdoor exersice for the summer. Driving around isn't good, and it's too hot for soccer.

I'd go play sometime. There is also a course in Hines Park near 5mile in Northville. Kensington has a good course too.

If Hudson has a course you just have to pay the normal fees. I have an annual pass though so they just wave me through.

That course in Royal Oak isn't too bad. It's nice if you only have a couple minutes and want to play. It's pretty small.

Off Stone School Rd - Brown Park

I saw a black WRX there ~ last month w/some nice 17"s (I forget which).

Disc golf cracks me up - it's played like regular golf (i.e. beer & smokes) but everyone seems to be wearing sandals and stylish hemp fashions

Hudson Mills was the home of the national chapionship a few years back. Challenging course, but a great time. I still have my disks, but gave it up for golf and paintball.

That was me, I frequent brown park quite often... When my buddies started playing there I thought it was dumb that a game ever existed called disc golf. They dragged me out and its actually quite challenging and fun, especially when your boozin' and I'm in no way a hippy, its actually hard for me to stand them in anyway...

I'm down for any Ypsi/A2 peeps who wanna play @ brown park...

Just have to wait for the weather to get better. It's supposed to rain the next couple of days. This weekend might work out, I know for a fact that the weekend after I'll be busy/drunk every day.
