Default First time at track how are my times?

hey this was my first night ever going to epping to race any car so it was my first time running my 04 stg 2 protuned sti last night and with bald tires and wheel hop through 2nd the best time i could get is a 12.917 my slip is as follows
r/t- .033
60'- 1.722
330- 5.277
1/8- 8.218
mph- 84.19
1000- 10.760
1/4- 12.917
mph- 104.69
the temp was 35 degrees on this run

can someone tell me if this is a good time for what a protuned stg 2 sti should be running? im ordering motor and tranny mounts today and getting new tires this weekend and ill be back up there next wednesday i know i got mid 12's in her its all just a matter of the tires hooking up like i said this was my first time ever running the car and this was the best run of the night...i just dont know if its good or not i ran 13 times and averaged 13.1-13.3 a good five runs the 12.9 was my best i just wanna know if thats average? i know my r/t was phenomenal so i was told on the copied slip above

I originally thought that these times were kind of high, but after further consultation in the Proven power section, it looks like they're very good. One of the lightly modded STi's ran a 12.8 I think, but you are right there. I say keep doing it and you'll be there with new tires! The most important thing was that yo had fun, so I hope you did.

Well, first there is Stage Sub-Zero - Uni-chip with a custom tune from Shiv
Then Stage Zero - Uppipe and a light weight pulley
Then Stage One - Turboback exhaust

I too am confused about this 'stage 2'

i don't mean to step on any toes in here...but are we serious

Stage II

Usually a turbo back exhaust, but defined by just an aftermarket downpipe.
+
Tune - whether it be Cobb OTS or Opensource or whatever.

BTW, those seem like decent times...I'll be heading to Epping in the not so distant future to make a few runs...I'm Stage II with a Cobb OTS map. I'll let you know how it goes if you'd like.

i have stage X its a special stage i invented

haha nice times for you to be off by .1 seconds to the lightly modded STi's (around here) that probably have been tracking for a few years isn't bad at all! definitely look into some FAQ's about tracking that can be found around here

Stage 2 means different things to different people, that's why I asked.

He didn't say "Cobb stage 2" he just said Stage 2 "Protuned"
