Yes..i find it tricky trying to visualize offsets..shed some light??like when they say 53 offset..is that in mm??inches??and the lower the offset the further away the mounting flange is from the centreline?

Also would i be able to fit 18 x 8.5 rota g forces offset 44 on wrx 2011??without rolling fenders??runnin stock suspension

2012 WRX, stock suspension. Rear fenders rolled flat and pulled. Stock front fenders. No rubbing.

Rears rolled, slight pull. Fronts are untouched, I need camber bolts for front to avoid rubbing on very large dips (very rarely do they rub up front).

Default 2013 sti tire fitment

Sorry if this question has already been answered here or elsewhere. I have a bone stock 2013 sti saloon. Time to replace the tires. Looking to go wider, what sorts of combos can I throw on the stock rims. Stock 18" Enkies. I would like to go 265mm but not sure about fitment with stock suspension. Thanks!

Ive have been researching tying to figure what tires to get for my rims i just purchased. I just got Gramlight 57dr wheels 18x9.5 +38. They are going on my 2014 wrx, it has stock suspension atm. Will go coilovers or bags by spring. Im looking at 265/35/18 tires. I see people saying some tires are more square then others. Can someone kindly point me to a few sets that are square to others.I am looking at Michelin pilot super sports. Thank you in advance!

You can't go wrong with the Michelin PSS tires - worth the extra money IMHO!

I picked up 18x9.5 +38 and need to make a tire size and brand choice in the next few days.
18x9.5 +35 with 245/40, rolled rears, stock suspension, rubs with people in the back on decent bumps...

Default Hub Bore?

When it comes to the hub bore, is this referring to the amount of clearance in the middle of the rim? Im looking at the XXR 551 18X9.75 +36 offset rims and they have a hub bore of 73.1 which I know is larger than the stock subaru rims. Just wondering what it means. thanks.

hub bore is the size of the hole in the center of the wheel. as long as the number is bigger than 56.1 you're ok.

thats also a bad wheel choice for a newbie. it won't look the way you think it will.

that is what i thought thanks. and i understand it is a bit wide. I am coming from having a lifted truck so i am a fan of larger tire/rim choices. I would like to have a little tire poke out of the fenders. From what i got off this forum though is that everybody likes the 18x9.5 with around 35 offset and so i figured that going with a 18x9.75 or x10 with around 30 offset would work but just a little more wide if i understand it correctly. im at stock ride height. i tried searching this thread the best i could and thats the understanding i got from it.

why does everybody on here not like the 18x10 with around the +30 offset? i get that its not the best for the suspension but with the right tire it should still fit? if somebody wants their tires wider than the fenders to be different i dont get whats wrong with that.

hmm, not quite sure where you're coming from. there are plenty of us running 18x30 +3x (i run both +38 RPF1s with a 5mm spacer in the front and +35 ZE40s). It's a great setup assuming you have widebody and the suspension modded/setup to handle it. But i'm going for flush and only enough gap to daily drive. I'm not a stretch, poke or slammed guy by any means.

if you're talking 18x10 +3x on anything older than a 2011 (narrow bodies) then it is a whole different ballgame and takes much more modification (generally flares) to run.

i don't really give a **** about what you posted I just want to make fun of this for a second.

you mean, you want to look exactly like everyone else. Nothing you are doing is unique or different, in any sense of the word. You're following a trend.

I haven't seen any pictures of guys running x10 with something like a 30 offset without camber. I'm not talking about the x9.5 and 35 offset that almost everybody has.

yeah I was just curious cuz I haven't seen anybody post with the 10x with like a 30 offset. I have an 11 so I was wondering why there aren't more pictures of guys running that setup with out camber and a crazy low drop

this isn't the UTI parts replacer opinion so I'm not asking for your opinion. it's to find out if something works or not.

you must have missed where i said i have two wheels sets in the sizes you're talking about, granted at +38 and +35 respectively. so blasting me for an amateur is weak. especially when you're the one asking questions...

your premise is odd. it's in the middle. You're not going for hard parked scene points slammed/stretched but then not going for a performance look/orientation (something like a +35 or +38, nice coils and suspension mods, a couple degrees of camber, etc). So you want to poke a bit at stock ride height? let me guess, try to stretch your stock 235s a bit? and you don't want to roll your fenders?

have at it brohammer, i'm sure it's going to look great...
