17 x 8", 5x100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm hub bore, +53mm offset, about 22 lbs each. The stock 2012 WRX tire size is: 235/45-17 The other questions you post will have more subjective answers. But if all you want is an additional set of wheels for summer then get the same size as stock .. as long as they are lighter (or the same weight at least). You can go +1 is wheel size to 18" wheels - but again keep the weight at 22 lbs or less. Otherwise you will have a "performance decrease". NOTE: The 18" tires will be more expensive than the same tire in a 17" size. Other people on the forum go +1 (or 2) and go wider because of looks, performance attributes, etc.. What I cannot figure out from your post is WHY you want to get 18" wheels? I know your decision is not performance based, so is it about asthetics from the shorter sidewall 18" tires? |

Anyone running ccw classics or fikse profil 10 on their 11+?
I don't want to roll or anything so was curious if I could do one of these in 18x8 or 18x8.5 +38 with a 245. I'd love to go 255, but think I'd end up having to roll the fenders... |

The +1 (or +2) was in reference to the wheel diameter. For example, going to an 18" wheel for a 2012 WRX is a +1 size up (since the stock wheel is 17"). For an STi, going to a 19" wheel diameter is a +1 since their stock wheel is 18".

When running two sets of tires, does it make sense to have a TPMS for each set or is that easily enough transferred when changing from one set of tires to the other at the end/beginning of a season change?
Just wondering if its worth spending the extra ~$160 for another set of sensors. |

Or just deal with the TPMS light on and save the $160. I'd rather manually check them and have the cash in my pocket. Thats just me though. |

I simply can not live with that light, I don't know how other people do. I'm just too OCD I guess.

that's how I feel I would be! Thank you guys for the input though, looks like I have a couple options depending on how my OCD levels are/if I want to spend that extra$.

Ok, I've read so much of this thread I think my eyes are beginning to bleed! Please give me some advice since this is my first Subaru, a '13 WRX hatch. I plan on keeping the stock suspension for a while and want to run 18x9.5 Rota Grids in the spring. My confusion is: A. what tire size to run and B. is it possible to run this setup without rolling the fenders?
This question might have been answered, but I can't find it directly and most people don't run the stock suspension setup. I appreciate any help and knowledge you can throw my way! |

As I tell everyone, honestly if you do not want to do any fender modification, you shouldn't be looking at wheels wider than 8" et42-48. |

Not trying to be a smart@ss because I know you're trying to help, just hoping to get some guidance. I'm ok with rolling the fenders if absolutely necessary, it just appeared to me after an hour reading this thread that I may be able to make it work at stock height if I have the right tire. |

Does anyone run the Rota GForce 18x9 +35 with no fendor mods. I wanted those wheels and was looking at 245 tires for it and Most likely will add the RCE black springs to my car down the road. Would this setup work I have been searching around to see if anyone has that but most have much lower drops and are already rolled.

I understand but is 7-10mm going to make you go from "fit so easy" to rubbing? Not trying to argue anything, was a genuine questions for scooby4life as he knows his s**t on wheels. |

I'm looking into some new Miro 398 wheels . Size 18x9.5 et34 that's the only offset they have available . I've seen plenty of guys rock +38 to +40 with no fitment issues or fender rolling. Wondering if the +34 would look good? Require rolling ? Or stick out too far where I'd have to start cambering to get it flush or tucked .....
Any input ? |
