Hello
.. i love my wagon but i really miss my mercedes 190e and I could give back the 16K i borrowed from my parents and get into a decent 190e for 7k so if i can get what I payed for her i will let her go to get back into a 190e. that's what i'm looking for to replace my 2006 wagon, but that is too high in my opinion, that's just under what i'm asking for a 4 year newer car....

Gotta factor in this thing called resale value and a 2002 with just 1 mile on it, the car Blue Book's for $15,030 in excellent condition and $14,150 in good condition. That doesn't include the fact that major parts of this car were replaced, which is a little bit of a turn off, especially with cars that have a track record of being modded and beat on. If everything was replaced under warranty, there really wasn't any money out of your pocket to have to recoup. Why should someone pay $21k for an almost 5 year old car when you can spend $25k and get a brand, spanking new 2007 wagon out of the showroom (or a leftover 2006 for even less!) and get new car financing besides! Sorry man, car looks really nice and clean, but be a bit more realistic. |

wow.. If I spent 50 thousand on a car in two weeks and wanted to sell it i would get my brain checked.. the original owner spent that in the two years. First engine had a spun rod due to down shifting, had a lot of stuff done to the engine to make it go fast which killed the engine and ultimatly blow it.. so he dropped a new engine in 5K miles ago and tranny out of his pocket. He started with this engine to make it last unlike the first one intending to keep the car forever.. but he just bought a G35 for his banking job so he sold me his wagon.
A 2006 wagon is around 26,500 and a 2007 is around 27,500 to 28,000 at a dealership.. went to irvine subaru looking at them before i bought this wagon.. In my eyes the better looking bugeye for 21k from a owner who really cared about his car beats a 06-07 in my opinion.. i dont put much faith in kbb either,, I sold my 87' 16 valve for 7k and it said it was worth 1000 bucks alittle while back. |

A '07 WRX wagon MSRP's for $24,495 ($25,120 with destination - Right from Subaru's website).
How many miles are on the odometer? Take a look at what other people in the forsale forums are selling their 2002's for. There are plenty of cars in here with more mods than yours that haven't sold in weeks and they're going for anywhere from $12-16k. |

in all fairness and honesty i would offer at most 13k, but probably not that because i could snag the wagon i really am after for $13.5k
I'm trying to sell my 06 to get an 02-03 for insurance reasons, i would be interested in yours, but unfortunately not anywhere near that price. good luck though! |

+1
To add, a lot of mods should just be thrown away as not needed "rice" mods. The car is only worth what someone will pay for it, you will have to hope for someone who has a lot of cash because no bank will finance that amount on that car. |

OP- Seriously you would be better off selling your car on ebay or locally. The boards are just going to eat you alive on this one.
I love wagons and all, but you should have written down what you wanted to post about it and had others proof it before putting it on here. Good luck Jay-R |
