stupid stupid stupid question time
Well, I looked in the stickies and did a little search the other day AND I left a message with TXS. I haven't had any luck so now it's time to ask y'all.
1-Is a stock boost controller needed with a UTEC? 2-Can I use my dual controller I have or do I need to use the ABC that it comes with? ::don't hate::

You can use any type of boost control you want with UTEC. HOWEVER, if you want to CONTROL your boost through the UTEC interface, you will need a factory boost controller, or perhaps the GM Typhoon three port sol. spliced in the factory location (do a search for GM Boost sol).
Lots of people are using other boost controllers, both manual and electronic, with UTEC. Hope that helps. |
