I love this car! I'm not biased to SWP or anything...

Default Chaso's 2014 SWP WRX Hatch

Sounds like you need a lot of heat for them to work properly. I guess they are better for road racing rather than DD.

Just ordered the Grimmspeed AOS. I will probably DIY the install sometime next weekend. I'm hoping this improves performance and reliability as much as I've read it will. I also ordered a CG Lock since I can't really justify a harness bar for as little I'd use it.

Also, initial pedal bite is very inconsistent and largely depends on how much heat is in the rotor/pads. I much prefer the feel of the cold bite which provides a bit more feel due to the slight increase in travel and reduced bite, but I will find out what works better in a couple weeks at my next autocross.

Here's a video from my last event. I took mom for the first time and now she wants to come to every event I go to. Lol. Out of 68 drivers, I ended the day 5th overall and 4th PAX.

Thanks - I appreciate the kind words!

Congrats on your recent purchase. I'm sure you already have your eyes on certain parts, but if I could recommend some for this car it would be a tie between the short shifter kit and pitch stop mount. Both change the car for the better!

Nice build! I've been looking for other people who have stuck with a 17x8 or gone up to a 17x9 and still run a 235/45/17.
