Cont. of Boom Plus Scandal - Long...but read it...important
Turns out that there is damage to the car...a rough estimate by just lookin at it and stuff...without jackin the car up to check and before taking the bumper off the check inside....an estimated damage of 800 bux....I am so pissed off...and whats more pissing is...I called MORRIS at boom plus toys today and asked him again..
"did you drop my car" his answer "No...we didn't...its imposible!!" me: then why the **** is there crazy damage there??? and the story continues...he kept lieing and lieing until the whole story came out...everytime I told him something that he didn't THINK i knew...he kept changing his story...first saying he didn't drop my car then saying his workers told him that they dropped it but fixed it...then I asked him why he didn't tell me...the he told me that his workers told him something happened to it but they took care of it..fixed it...and he didn't bother taking a look at it cuz it was minor...and then he changed his story again to "yeah I saw it...but it was very minor damage..." supposidly he was not there when it happened...but my eye witness says Morris was there....but morris still denies being there.... Anyways...venting cuz I am crazy mad!! the damage is where the spare tire wheel well...the rear of the car was jacked up for some wierd reason...and both the wheels were OFF....and the jacked slipped and then it fell...apparantly there was sumthing under the car that the bottom part of the spare tire well hit...cuz the exhast has no damage...you know how the spare tire well dips into the car right??? well the side that is connected to the back part near the bumper...that side totally just BROKE off from the rest of the car and dented Upwards....they Mickeymoused the job and just hammered the metal back down and took this sealent and sealed it...it looks like a fixing job that my little cuzin in grade 3 did....extremely horrible job....and also...supposdly there is another thing thats busted...but I have to take the bumper off and check more thouroughly before I can figure it it...(i mean a shope has to check it out) the guy who saw the damage said there was some sort of bar that snapped under the car too...or sumthing that was supposed to be connected...but it broke apart and is separated...so I am guessing theres another couple hundred bux worth of damages... Boom Plus Toys LIES...they cheat customes..don't give them ANY busines whatsoever...

go to a bodyshop and get an written estiment on the damage, then go back and ask them to pay for the damages.if they won't ,then go see a lawyer.

Good advice bender.
Find a lawyer that has dealt with claims like this before. They will be able to tell you all the things you need to do. At least do eveything in such a way that there is a record or a witness. Your telephone call (while it clarifies to you that he admitted it) can easily be denied. Go to the shop with a witness if you want to talk to him. The presence of a witness is a powerful thing down the line. |
