I couldn't get the Typhoon to fit on my STi.
I ended up selling it and using the supplied one with the kit. I just started to max it out with the wheather getting around 30 degrees here in NY This is with a td06-20g @ 22psi. I turned it down to 21psi and so far I haven't thrown the high maf sensor CEL again. |

Yeah, the typhoon is definitely a tight fit. It actually kind of wedges itself between the tube and the hood.

so the typhoon definitely will fit? I have one and just figured i had to get rid of it for this fmic. Did you just take off the heat shield that goes around the whole thing or what?

Just make sure you have things in the right place before you slam the hood. The filter will sit between the IC tube and the headlight. You might crush the filter the first time if you dont have it all lined up. |

Has someone actually gotten a kit without a coolant overflow, or are you speculating based on the photos? The photos often don't show everything included. They almost never show the intake (MAF housing) piece in photos yet everyone gets one.

he might be referring to the breather hard lines which run along the front of the intercooler.
The kit provides lengthened pieces of rubber tube and t-fittings for this. |

Mine shipped in about a week. Im extremely pleased with mine. It has no issues flowing. There are plenty of people on the boards here making good numbers with this kit. You should be happy.

Hill @ Agile Auto told me when i mentioned the FMIC to him...not to get the EBAY FMIC because of the flow issues....maybe bc they sell fabed FMIC there but i told him b4 i was not payin 1200 for one from them....thats why i was checkin, to see if anyone had pressure drops or flow problems...but everything sounds fine
