Default APS BOV, adjustments? HELP

Before i start, can i fully go atmospheric with this bov for a few days till i get the stock bov back. i need the bov end to reserc. I put the new aps bov on my car and i tryed to adjust it, but it seems to just want to stay open alittle bit. is that normal? or is this just the way it was designed for the reserculation. my car doesnt want to run because of the big leak. please help

The valve is staged and vents to the recirc. hose first then the piston continues to open till it vent to the atmos.

So to make it fully vent to the atmos you would need to remove the recirc hose that goes back to the intake and plug it so you dont have un-metered/filtered air entering the intake track.
While it can be done, im sure most here would not recommend it.

You are correct that to bov should not be open at idle.
I have an aps and set the tension on mine by continuing to increase spring tension then go out for a drive and continued this until i could here compressor surge then backed it off till it went away.

at idle my APS is open to BPV (not to ATM) my idle is almost at 20inHg its pulling the piston/valve open. I made a mark when car is off on the lower lip of the vent to ATM opening. When the car is at idle its in the middle of the opening

Im only 17 psi max boost (40-60 deg F) and i never hear it vent to ATM
