Default SoCal: Servicing help!!!

I was wondering where i can go to get my suby tuned up.
I am already at the 100k mark so i need new spark plugs, belts, etc.
anybody know a GOOD body shop to goto instead of the subaru dealerships?
I also need to do my clutch as well so...
Your help is appreciated!
thanks!

How far are you from Thousand Oaks? Because we recommend Subaru of Thousand Oaks as they have really good service there.

Gary

FYI... Dont go to Irvine Subaru for service. The service guy named Rich Gowdy is an Arsehole, and the other guys in the parts dept dont know what the hell they are talking about...

I agree 100%. No customer service skills whatsoever. Not even a "hello". All I got from Rich was, "were busy now, i'm the only one here, it's gonna be a while"

so I walked out and left and went to southcoast subaru.

I disagree 100%. Rich always takes good care of me when I bring the rex in for service. Btw, I'm a 24 year-old male so it's not like he has a thing against young guys bringing their vehicles in for service. However, I'm not like most customers in that I work at a BMW service department. We usually end up spending a couple minutes or so talking about service department-type stuff every time I bring the car in for service.

The vehicle was purchased from Irvine. I went to South Coast Subaru in 2004 for my 7,500 and 11,250 services, but stopped going once Chris left their service department. To date, I've had Irvine do the rest of my oil changes and services since then, but I'll usually take the car to Suby Specialties in Monrovia for any brake work (usually the result of track days).

God bless,
Loren
