People who think their crappy AR-15 is now worth $2,500 when a month ago it would sell for $600 at its best. Or $25 magazines selling for $50-100... Seriously Alaska has problems when it comes to gun prices.
Example: I bought a dpms lar .308 a month ago for $1,200 new in the store. I see the EXACT same gun for $2,000 used on Alaska list... WTF??

WGMG:

Yesterday around 4:45PM I drove north on Turpin towards the Glenn. Approaching the frontage road intersection I see a tall, large, Asian church community vans crossing over from east to west. My destination was west, so I turned. Coming upon the first curve I see the van slow down and pull over to the right. WAY over to the right, and slowly. I was coming upon them at normal speed (30+MPH), but slowed down a tiny bit when I saw them slow down. I started to speed up to pass them since they were pulled over when all of the sudden they started turning a hard left. THEY WERE DOING A U-TURN IN THE MIDDLE OF AN S-CURVED TWO-WAY ROAD! WTF?!! And they were turning into ME!

Since I look ahead at where I'm going when I drive (and not directly at what's in front of me), I knew that no one was coming in the opposite lane, yet. I gas it really quick, pulling the steering wheel to the left, away from the left-turning giganto-van, then quickly pulled right to swerve back into the right lane, around the van. A few feet later I see two vehicles coming around the curve in the opposite direction, so I checked out my side view mirror to see what the van's doing. That fiend is STILL turning in the middle of the s-curve, causing those people that are coming around the corner to have to use their brakes to wait for the idiot van driver to complete his insane task.

I just bought a bushmaster in Texas for $750. In Alaska that must be worth $5,579.32

Hmm...It would appear as though Mike has some off-the-track competition going on here.

I've got one!

"Suspension components are unrestricted as long as they use the original attachment points. For the purposes of this rule, “suspen- sion” is defined as any item that is designed to move when a wheel is deflected vertically. This includes shocks and struts, control arms, steering knuckles, uprights, etc., but not tie rods, steering racks, and subframes. In addition, shock absorber/strut upper mounts are to be considered suspension components."

From the SCCA rule book. Just in case anybody was curious.

Have you checked my post on fuel pump issue? I had the same thing with my Forester with the Aeromotive 342 pump.

Hmm. That is certainly useful info right there.

Unfortunately, even with the 5yr old walbro I replaced. all I get is, Key on and the relay like click from the fuel pump area(no prime), crank and nothing. Strange thing is I drove it 2 days before hand and the only problem I had was a clutch engagement problem. Guess Ill check the fuses while its still warm out. If I could get my laptop to communicate with the AEM EMS that might help to lol.......

I go to get a quote on how much paint matching my jdm scoop will be at Jose's Body & Paint and the guy tells me he's gonna have to paint my hood as well... Say it's the metallic paint that's the issue and even the static electricity in the air can mess the matching up. ?? Really?

With metallic paints if you want a perfect match you need to paint it at the same time. Has to do with the way the flakes lie. Painted my scoop off the hood and it looks fine but I knew how I painted my hood so I could match the pattern. Silver is easy to match though.

Is that just with scoops? When Markel's quoted me $200 to paint-match my tS spoiler, eye tow cap and side vent, they were more than happy with me just dropping off the pieces to be painted Dark Gray Metallic.

Gotcha. It's just what I thought would be a 150-200 paint job just turned into a 500-600 job including the hood.. I'm half way tempted to just plasti dip the hood and the scoop. Nothing is ever easy is it. Lol.

Edit: I'm sure I can just tell them to just paint the scoop but the way he made it seem was the that the scoop was not going to match at all if I did that and he recommended painting the hood so he could fade the color outward.

I know you're in Fairbanks but I can paint parts. Probably be $100 for paint if you go Dupont which is the best. Just throwing out that option.
