Our stock shipments are approximately every two weeks. They're picking up a bit right now.

I liked my Rally Armor skid plate but not sure if they're making them for more current models.

I'm using a Beatrush under panel right now, covers the entire front underbody. Though they're expensive $500+.

If you're looking to save some money my suggestion,
-Search the national sale threads. There isn't much to primitive or rally armor. Any missing hardware can be replaced at like AIH or Ak fasteners. You'll pay on shipping but will save obviously on used.

Primitive's shipping is actually really reasonable. I mean... Paul actually packages skid plates so fit within priority mail dimensions so you don't have to pay extra for a large item and it can be shipped USPS which I consider as going above and beyond. I think shipping was only $35-40 for the skid plate and the rear different cover...Which considering were talking about big pieces of metal is super reasonable.

I have Primitive skidplates on both the WRX and the RS and love them and I've beat the living hell out of both cars and they've held up.

Possibly. Most of the time I've had stuff shipped up I haven't been charged. Once recently I had a set of wheels weighing well over 100 lbs shipped and it cost $80. Kaitlin's STI seats cost $0. It really depends on when and how they ship, so expect to pay SOMETHING, but expect it to be a fraction of what you'd probably pay going it alone. We use Pacific Alaska Freightways or American Fast Freight.

Yes, I meant to chime in that when I was looking at getting a skid plate for my WRX, Primitive actually had very reasonable shipping quotes to Alaska. I almost bit the bullet on one. So you might want to get a quote first.

Thanks, Kaitlin!

WGMG, [begin rant]

1. People who don't do their job, and look for a scapegoat under them.
2. Insurance Companies.
3. People who post things on Craigslist, then for no reason decide not to sell them after you have agreed to buy said item.

Oh, and this weather. It was 28 degrees this morning when I left my house, but I'll be damned if I let the weather stop me from riding my motorcycle.

Rant over.

Only thing worst is you agree to sell and the buyer just disappears. No shows for a meet up and never responds to messages again. Hate craigslist but luckily it's not too bad here as compared to the states. People get scammed left and right down there.

Agreed. I pretty much had that happen to me when I was looking into getting my first subie. Guy that was working at JBER wanted to trade his 2005 WRX for a truck, and I even met up with him when I was in Anchorage and test drove the car. Was going to drive up that weekend to do the trade, then Friday night he stopped answering texts/calls. Just glad I didn't make the drive all the way down and then have him bail.

AMA is a cluster(cuss). Their admins run that "club" into the dirt. Just when I thought I'd found the diverse group cataloging the tuners in AK they let drama and lofty dreams ruin it before it even gets off the ground. It's a shame because I hate forums and finally had faces to rigs.

AMA is a joke. Add random people then say that they have to make meets. AMA was against street racing yet leave videos of people doing pulls well about speed limits. Makes perfect sense. It's only a matter of time that all these AMA cars will be targeted because they have the sticker.

Apparently I'm no longer invited to that club? I was enjoying all the news on my wall and was planning on participating more but now seems I was removed? Not sure how facebook groups work.

i was one of the few who got kicked out of AMA lol. so i sent their oh so great "AMA President" a PM to get a better understanding of why they did so. they were "downsizing" to have just those they know "personally" and in order to be in the group, you had to follow their "policy" first (attend a meet, join and get approved), but there had been a few members that were booted who have already followed that policy before it was even in effect.

it was fun while it lasted though haha (it was more entertainment for me to get a few needed laughs in my day).

Why would anyone be disappointed about being dropped from a "group" who's lives revolve around BroBell.

I was added but dropped too. I thought the group had something to offer but over the short course I lurked, I saw nothing worthwhile or useful. The FB popups were frequent and useless too. I mean, who really cares that you saw and STI with tint...begeezus, they're everywhere The calendar of events was ok but that information can be obtained anywhere.

So, in the end, if being part of that group and getting dumped hurts your feelings...no disrespect meant but, Wow...just wow!

You'll always have family here and you'll never have to eat at BroBell.

Wow.. I was never a member but that's pretty crappy.

I liked what their vision was, kind of re-igniting the multi-platform late model modified car enthusiast gatherings that have been missing the past few years. It just had a bit more rules and a bit more of a club feel than groups in the past. Could've been good, could've been bad (apparently the latter?). However booting people because they haven't "met" you yet, is a bit absurd in my mind. How many of us have shown to a meet and not met everyone there?

Everybody should know by now there will ALWAYS be some bad apples. Whether here in AKIC, over on ole AKMS, in the future of any other car forum sites... there will always be some bad apple "drama", it's life. I'll just stick with MSAK, here and euro board.
