Default will i be able to use an AP with a previously reflashed ecu???

one of my friends is parting out his wrx, and he has a reflashed ecu from cobb. Not an ap reflash, its the kind where you send in your ecu, and they send it back...

my question is... if i use this, will i be able to purchase and use an access port later???

thanx in advance...

Customers with the normal flash that Cobb originally sold can actually purchase the AP at an upgrade price of $200 or so.

I cant remember What all the stipulations are (since you didnt purchase the flash from Cobb yourself)

Give Cobb a call and they can get you squared away.

If that won't work, you can always use the openecu tools to flash it back to a stock rom and then marry your AP to it.
