Not too bad, Eddie!

Where were you shifting? The 60' could be a little lower, but it's still not too bad. How far is this track from you?

should be able to get that 60' down and when you shifting? stg 1 93 should be low 13's/high 12's.

Last run at the track with the 20G on about 22 psi and 100 oct equivalent. Not what I wanted, but it is at least acceptable. Car will be back to stock by end of next month so no way to improve. Car #8458 (left)

Took the family wagon out to the strip (PIR) one last time as it is the end of the season here in Oregon.

Only got one 12.998, but trapped a 110.26!

Was having a hard time hooking up in first.

Had some good power though, was 84 mph in the 1/8th and 109/110 in the 1/4, so I was picking up 25mph in the top end.

Two best runs, these were also the last runs of the night back to back....

60' 1.917 2.018
330' 5.519 5.644
1/8th 8.441 8.558
mph 84.70 84.92
1/4 12.998 13.092
mph 109.44 110.26

Full weight 1990 Legacy wagon, the family wagon....

Oh yeah, the ever important mods.

1990 Legacy wagon
2.5 NA block
100mm Wiseco pistons
twinturbo heads from 1997 SPEC B Legacy, ofset oversize valves
Borla header with custom up and down pipes, 2 1/2 and 3" exhaust
NA intake manifold
800cc sidefeed injectors
Blow through Modded JECS MAF
EBAY T3/T4 turbo
BigAss FMIC
Greddy TRUST manual boost controller
6puck disk and 550torquepressure plate
Tuned with PerfectPower6 (PP6)

heres my stage 2 08 wrx 13.5@100 stock I ran 14.5@95 I want High 12s on the stock turbo so next year some weight reduction is planned(especially for the 285lbs driver). Car is at full weight currently and running an xpt 93 map. e85 and a pump should net me my goal.

On the right:
2006 wrx with vf39, css tmic, aps 65mm CAI, gms after-maf and inlet, ebcs, walbro 255lph, catless tbe, stock wheels w/ dunlop direzzas...I think that's it. It was in the 70's that day, located in central Florida. edit: open source tuned to ~20 psi.

I feel like my times should be better, it was my first time with this setup at the track. Let me know what you think.

The MPH is so low becuase I had resolved that run to see if I could carry 3rd all the way through, and was bouncing off the rev limiter just before the 1/4. I think that if I had just shifted It would be a faster run. Also, with a run like this, if I have a better 60ft, say 1.8, how would that translate out into 1/4 time? (In other words, how fast can the car go if I dont suck?)

SUPER HAPPY!!!!

First time racing my 05 sti and an awd car!

My best time for the night was 8.56 with a 1.9 60ft and I think 79mph.

Whats weird is that the slower my time the higher my ET? I didnt get it. I got an ET as high as 82mph with 9.2 o_O

Oh yeah my car is nearly dead stock, just a cai and act clutch with 10k on it.

Oh yeah to all those thread saying "launch at 3.5k" I have no idea how people launch that low I had to go up to 5k and feather out the clutch. I baaaarely smelled it the two times I launched at 5k.

Launching at around 4500. Stage 2 OTS AP STi. 70deg, 50% humidity. I can't seem to get that 60' down. Could I be not letting the clutch out fast enough?

Best run of 4 (hot lapping, 4 runs in 30 mins, track was closing)

60' - 1.964
330 - 5.732
1/8 - 8.894
MPH - 78.17
1000 - 11.551
1/4 -13.792
MPH - 101.45

I'm getting a tune in two weeks then back to the track to compare.

I'll believe it when i see the proof.

That 1/8 et = about a 13.1 or 13.2 with a 1.9 60' and a stock STi, I'll be calling BS on that one
