LOL!

Oh stop, you guys are being dicks.

Still no up pipe from TIGWERKS... Sent him a message last night and he said he's "still recovering from being sick and the Fabrication Expo" and he was hoping to finish it yesterday. He said that the hood-dump is what's troubling him, and also that he's only been looking at a resolution to that "here and there." This all sucks because the first message he sent to me says that he'd have a one to two day turnaround. My last message to him yesterday told him to forget the hood dump and just send me his normal dump tube and refund the extra 50 for the second dump tube. I'm going to message him tonight and tell him that if it's not finished and shipped out tomorrow then just forget it and I'll go with a different shop. Or do it myself now that I can weld stainless.

They said it'd be 788 for a 9 hour day, and that's using one of their guys to help us load the car, strap them down, and operate the dyno. How does that compare to the Chi-town dyno?

So that's like 100 an hour. Roughly 2 cars an hour. I'm in.

Do they want money up front. I want strippers there.

I think if you arrange for strippers that they'd be ok with that. If that happens, you need to make a full photo-shoot out of it.

At least these guys aren't overly expensive, and they're a ****load closer than Chicago. Now I just need to figure out if I'm going to tune myself, or pay for a tune... Still thinking I'll self tune myself, or find someone who is willing to mentor me.

It'd be fine. Robs car has an 18g with 140k miles, and he drives it pretty well.

Yeah, that Unicorn Package was only available to guys like Rob.

Rob is around 320whp/340wtq I believe. 4EAT would probably be closer to 300/300 if you matched his setup.

I wouldn't be so sure on the torque - most 4EATS are pretty torquey. I bet 335-45 depending how aggressive the tune is.

I agree on the horsepower. Definitely won't be as fast.

Anyone familiar with Premier Graphics over by Clay and 56th street? http://mysigndesign.com/index.html
I've been talking with them to do my window tint and vinyl overlays for my lights. Figured they advertise window tinting and vinyl wraps so they should be good at both.

I am looking for mechanic recommendations here in gr. Anybody have a guy or a shop they would recommend. I am reaching a 100k and want to do all scheduled maint. I don't want to deal with the dealer or the guy that does my oil. Thanks

For those who have tint, what percent do you have and do the gr cops give you any grief for it? I'm not going very dark...maybe 40-45%.
