For me, I like the added security darker tint provides, as well as the fact that it better protects the interior and keeps it cooler than lighter tint. I work 10 hour days and my parking lot at work has exactly 0 shade. I park in such a way that the front of the car (windshield) faces the sun in the morning when it's cooler, and the back (where all windows are tinted) faces the sun in the afternoon, when it's the hottest. As the previous post says, darker tint does make it harder to peer in and see if you left your cell phone, wallet or anything else in, which also makes it harder for passers by to see what they might want to break in and steal. |

Yeah it does...JK.
But seriously, based on that photo it looks good, I have no issues with it. I think it all depends on the lighting and angle. My tint can be really dark or really light from certain angles. P.S. COLOUR!!!! ;D |

And I won't tint my car so dark that other drivers can't see me. When someone is about to make some sketchy maneuver, I want him to see me looking at him like this: |

Anyone have issues with vertical lines on their rear window tint when wearing polarized sunglasses. Did my tinter install it in the wrong direction?

Depending on the angle/orientation the effect can be reduced, which is why I asked. It has been suggested that it may be to due the tint not fully drying yet so I guess I'll wait a week or so and report back. I was just curious if anyone had similar issues.

I see that all the time with my sunglasses, perfectly normal (all though I don't know the science behind it). Probably an effect of the safety glass and the factory tint?

I was thinking that, as you sometimes see that bubble/honeycomb effect on the rear windows (w/o tint). I'm hoping it reduces more once the tint dries.

My sun shade was $10 at autozone, but this one looks much better and is custom fit for the impreza.
Looks like its $50 with shipping. And you can choose your color. |

it looks a lot like the Subaru one, I'm wondering if they are the original manufacturer.
