bc volk te37's dont have an extreme concave like that. only Rota makes the wheel concave that drastically.

Rota Grids 18x9.5 +38
1. You're obviously not familiar with Paikman's previous wheel setups.
2. You're looking at 18x9.5 +22 and +38 not 18x10.5 +15 - you do know that most wheel manufacturers change the concave with the width and offset right?
3. You think Rota came up with that design?

never once said rota came up with that design, its a unique design made by RAYS. but again come my point..whya re there no stamps or badges on the lip of the wheel that says Rays Engineering or Volk?

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2443471

ok and 18x10.5 will still not have that much of a concave...

same size, same offset...

http://zilvia.net/f/wheels-tires/296...5-qty-4-a.html

now rota 18x10.5

do you think youd be able to see the stamps on the wheel from that distance? That one with the lesser convace is because it has a big lip, so the concave is less

Those must be the best cell phone photos ever taken if you can/can't see the stamp on the lip. In his IWSTI thread there is a picture where you can clearly see them.

Not lights, they are my PIAA horns, we don't get hella super tones in the UK and expensive to import so use these instead, plus like to be different.

just wanted to chime in that they are indeed real volks, and 18" TE37's do not have that stamping on the wheel itself, it is a feature unique to 19" TE37's.
if you actually READ that zilvia thread you would see

OMG NO STAMPS????

youll also notice i have the proper blue valve steam and
speaking of visible stamps, no stupid SMXXX stamp as seen on the top most spoke area on rotas.
Also 10.5 +15 will be WAY more concave/deeper hub then a 9.5 +22. You are talking about 25.4mm more in width AND 7mm less in offset. Come on now.
consider yourself schooled =)

ps : google 18" TE37 and you will never see those stamps . Aspec/evasive/etc all those big companies on here can back that up.

pps i played detective now too. I've marked the area where there's clearly a stamp on rotas from the pics you used

Can we get back on topic of the thread. Who cares about who's rims are real or fake. Go buy Rotas and put Rays stickers on them. Yeah we will all laugh but who cares. Go buy rays and put on rota stickers, yep makes no sense also and would blow my mind. Either way I won't lose sleep over it. Please get this back on topic.

Who cares what I think though. I'm gonna buy 16x7 -12mm Rotas and run 33" BF Goodrich Mud Terrains. Will I have to roll my fenders?

So I thought that means I HAD to buy a lip to help sturdy things up a bit. At least that's what I told the fiancé. Lol.
Plus my Buddy was selling it.

I'm surprised how nice the pictures on my phone turn out.

That was pretty good timing. My car looks naked without a lip. New one came in today though, should be by the weekend.
