Default HWG map vs regular stage 2?

Is there any real difference or benefit to running the stage 2 HWG Map? I have seen a good deal of individuals run that map and I'm not sure if it's worth it over the stage 2 93 oct map.

You should only run the HWG map if the normal map WDC values do not hit targer boost for your car. If you run the HWG map and you do not need it, you will have problems with boost spiking and holding boost at a steady value. Except for the WDC values, the maps are the same.

As jebjkey stated, the HWG map is not a map you would want to simply choose to run. You should only run the HWG map (over the normal wastegate map) if you were underboosting by more than 1 psi for your peak target. Best way to see how boost is doing is via a data log. Check out our data logging video below for details.
