This kid at my work said my 2006 impreza looks like a mothers car then drove away in his Suzuki swift ((which wasn't even the 'sport' version, not that it matters))

This isn't something that was said about my subie when I had it but I found my car on craigslist listed as a Subaru WRX but when I went to meet the previous owner the for sale sign he had in the window said Mazda WRX

I don't see the problem with eating food in a car. Smoking is one thing, it can burn the seats, leave a smell. But food? Seriously? What bad can happen? OMG the next time you take it to a car wash they might find a crumb and you lose 5 bro points :/ Last edited by mpristave; 10-09-2012 at 08:30 AM. |

Speaking of car washes, in this county the residential drains go to the public water supply so it's not allowed to pour anything down there (Including soapy water).
So I got back from a rallycross and the car was filthy! I took it to a car wash and paid $5 for the cheapest one just to rinse it off. There is a guy with a brush before you enter the automatic wash part and he goes about scrubbing the front and doors. Then he gets to the rear, where's there's seriously 1/4 inch of caked on dirt, and goes "holy $hit! We're gonna have to charge you extra for all that..." Right then the wheel grabber started pulling my car in and he just knocked it off shaking his head, LOL. Car looks back to normal now |

Thanks man. No I didn't do any high compression. I live in PA so its been really cool up there. I know people make mistakes, but if you can't understand "Fill it, 93, cash." you probably shouldn't be working with the public...i guess if forgot to press 1 for English lol.

I usually flip out when I walk out to my pump and I can only pump 87 cause the tard Inside didn't ask what grade since I can't pick at the pump now they all know me at every gas station and now even ask. 93 right? Back on topic.....lol im at the pump and I have a turbo timer so I walk out keys in hand there's a cop standing there watches me go to pay at pump with card. I take my gas cap off and wait for card to clear he runs up to me, starts yelling at me saying what im doing is against the law. I looked at him confused he said shut your car off I wave my keys in his face and boom car shuts down he almost **** himself when the car shut off alone. He asked why my car does that all I said was. Because RACE CAR lol I don't think he liked that to much

It was more like a wet mop thing they used. Sorry for giving you the wrong image about the 'brush'. No scratches.
The turbo timers usually crack me up the most when cops are standing there baffled like "how could this idiot leave his car running?!" lol. A few friends and I were walking into a restaurant while this guys 06 STI was on the longest timer ever for his turbo timer (5 minutes? felt like forever...). From the time we walked in the door 2 different waitresses and a hostess all told us we left our car running. It was a pretty loud stage 2 set up. vibrating the front door and all, kind of annoying to be honest. |

Turbo timers are useless on a stock turbo setup. You only need one if you went with a oil cooled turbo.

I think cheese13 meant oil cooled only. I have a stock vf37 but its not that big of a deal to let it idle a few seconds before shutting it off. If I was only cruising and not hitting boost I will just shut it down.
