I am not sure if I am or not, but I haven't found a faster stock block 2.0 than mine.

bone stock longblock= stock cams, stock heads, stock internals, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, etc, etc.

11.2 @ 128, 1.78 sixty foot.

I think the set-up has 10s in it... on that run the clutch wasn't holding everything and I was breaking up above 7500 rpms... so I was short shifting. If I could have pulled a 1.6 sixty and nailed every gear change (which I really didn't) and if it pulled to 8200.... who knows?

I have to get the exact quarter time but i know for sure that there is a EJ207 in Texas that pulled a 131mph trap. I know it was a low 11 sec pass but not exactly sure. I think it was 11.2@131.

Yea whatever...Doug tries to compensate for his low hp #'s by bragging about the oh so meaningless 11.2 1/4 mile time. Anyone can do that

HP # on a JDM 2.0l as far as i know is 504.7whp tuned by TurboXS (Nathan and Jermaine).

I gotta get to the track, or fix my clutch for that matter

ok well i pretty much knew that dug was the fastest time for a stocker. but i am a horrible track driver. i am a highway kinda guy.

so i am not trying to break the stocker record for times cause i know that even if i get great #s i will have bad times. i have been to the track two times and its not my things.

so with that said. 504 is the most

i guess i should have been more clear. i want to see if i can get the stock longblock record for the dyno.

then i will try and work on the track but it will take me a while i am sure

and that 504 is with what turbo?

i dont see how having the highest dyno numbers can really mean anything, as anyone can go on a high reading dyno to attain them. I'm sure if the guy that mad 504 hunted down and higher reading dyno, it would be more.

maybe call him out and have each of you do 3 pulls on the same dyno on the same day to see who makes more?

that would be more realistic i think.

my swap is almost done. v7 swap, i will be using an aftermarket exhaust manifold though... still deciding on a turbo. sz55 or gt30r seem to sound like the winner right now.

Just remember one thing with your Uber Hi HP deal. The more you have the harder it is to drive it When I was low HP I was able to make the car fly! I modded it and made way over 1**WHP more and now I have to learn all over again how to drive and launch the damn thing in the 1/4

I hear you...believe me i want to. I've been caught up with a bunch of stuff lately though. I'll make a serious attempt before the summer is out, but somehow i think my driving will still stop me from beating your time.

I'd really like to make it back down to MD and make some runs there, but i'm really not sure about having time for that.

When you running next?

Exactly. I put down 375 whp with my 02 WRX with vf34 on 91 octane at XS Engineering.

I think I definately have the vf series pump gas record no nitrous.

^^^^ Yeah that. HP made on a dyno doesnt mean sh$%. Unless all the JDM powered subies went to the same dyno So it comes down to the tune and the driver.

I'm going today to get tuned at Xotic Motorsports on my Version 7 with VF30. Tune it enough to run 11's on a stock 5 spd tranny!

hmmm...look at you, getting tuned today and not telling anyone! You already went 12.4 untuned on stock turbo, so I am sure 11's won't be an issue!

I went 11.8 on stock everything. My new setup should be running soon and I think I might even spray it a bit. I want the 6 bills offered at the east coast shoot out.

Yeah, but isn't it 6 bills for stock motor? If a gc has a swap then go in the outlaw class or something. I have to read over the rules again.
