The offset may push it a little close to the rear fenders, but you shouldn't have a problem.

You'll probably be okay with 215s. I'm going to run 17x8 +48 with a 235/45/17, but will be rolling my fenders.

I'm at 215/40 on an 8.5" +35 wheel, and Eibach prokit. Rear fenders used to cut the tire a bit on bumps. Rolled them flat and I've never had a problem since.

My wife was running 17X9 +44 with a 245 on her wagon. Rear fender lip rolled flat, stock front fenders.

No problems rubbing the suspension. The car was on ST Coilovers which are smaller in diameter than stock suspension so with drop springs and a shock probably would not work.
Car did rub sometimes on big bumps but I attribute that to the ST suspension being really soft, my wife wanting the car really low (That picture is raised up from where she wanted it and still low IMO) and fenders not really rolled. Fronts were un touched and rears were rolled semi flat no pull what so ever. Rolled fenders, slightly stiffer suspension or a little more ride height and it would have been fine. What wheels are you running that are 17X9 +43? Her Works were +44 and I think Rota offers some 17X9 in a +42? |

Xxr 522's. Hopefully picking them up next weekend.
I'll be running the car as low as I can that's still dd-able. Fortune 500's with camber plates front and rear. No crazy camber is the goal. The rears are already rolled to about 50degrees (from flat) but I might just re roll them flat to be safe. |

These 2 wagons are what made me go 17X9 with a 245. Black wagon was local to me and was a DD on Tein SS coilovers. Blue one was setup by wheel dude....not sure of suspension but there is a whole thread about it.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1714612 This guy is also put on Work CR Kai 17x9 around same time I did http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...7&postcount=64 Hope that helps, dont think you will need spacers. Fenders are rolled pretty good on the silver wagon which probably goes a long way to running minimal camber. Hope the owners dont mind me posting these |

Great info! I've been researching and collecting specs for a while. I think I should be fine without spacers, but I plan on going a little lower than you so I'm thinking 235's instead a of 245's for a touch of stretch. Def gonna re-roll and make it flat in the rear. Maybe even a very slight pull to play it safe.
