Default '94 to '97 bg legacy gt wiring diagram

does any one have one of these.
if yes, can you please point out what wire to put a switch on, to get rid of that stupid speed limiter

The speed limiter is in the ECU....there's not really a switch/wire you can disable.

The only thing I can think of would be to put a switch on the Vehicle Speed Sensor, and disconnect it.

It will probably freak out the ECU though and your speedo will prob not work.....(not sure if you have a mechanical or electrical speedo)

If you have an auto, really probably not a good idea to do this. There's probably less chances of freaking something out on a MT though.


I believe what the chips do that eliminate the speed limiter is send a steady constant signal to the ECU.

I had a freind do it in his auto r32 skyline.
i know the computers in those things are more complicated than in our subaru, but any way it souldn't be too hard it either needs 0 volts or 12 volts to indicate stoped.
btw i don't care if the spedo works or not, this is purely a financial thing
