Default Help me ID this EJ20 block.

ok so my bugeye is still broken down. and i found this block. first is it compatible with my bugeye?
is this ej20 or ej20g?
is there a difference? if so what.
will it plug and play in my bugeye?
here are pix
my assumption is no.

You can use the shortblock but you have to pay attention to a couple minor differences. The block will work though.

Such as the metric asston of rust. Would not buy. Just put an LS-X in it.

Why not just buy a factory fresh short block from Subaru? They run about $2000.. Or a used long block for that price. Don't mess with that rusty piece of ****. You'll regret it. I promise.

yeah leaning towards your subee store suggestion just wanted to see if i had another option to get up and runnin with a month max now im looking at 2-3 months

Just an opinion but it seems like you're about to spend $2000 to save $200.

Stop, set a goal, don't cut corners. The car and your wallet will thank you down the road.

correct. my biggest problem is i know very little close to nothing about these cars and prices, brands. etc. i dont know what im really looking for i want to get up and running but having it last. keeping my bugeye for years is my goal
