Default 1st thing to do after Hydra setup.

Upload you map from the ecu and save a copy of it on you lap top and on your desktop. Many people (including me) have been so excited about getting the Hydra and forgot to save the base map first. If you screw someting up, mess with the password, accidently overwrite you map with the template map, or 1 of many other things you'll be screwed until Phil can e-mail the map again. Phil is fast with returning e-mails but as luck will have it your Hydra will arrive on Friday after hours and you'll have to wait until Monday. Now you have a new toy you can't play with.

So true and it's a real bummer when you pay for next day air. I guess I could make this a bit more clear in Element Tuning Guide 1.

Thanks for looking out for others!
