Talking ricewagon (reconstructed)

Been collecting parts for this project for about a year, thanks mostly to Splinter's hook up. Always thought the wagons shoulda be made with the flared fenders. Finally got it in a shop for the big chop ...

Took these quickly tonight picking up the car, I'll get better pics later this week when the sun is still up. It looks just like it came out of the factory, but the paint job is alot better than factory work. If you didn't know subaru, you wouldn't know that those flares were added on.

The crew at Fasttrack autobody did an awesome job. The hours of pain staking work Tony, body man extraordinaire, put into those quarter panels and the roof vent. Never mind the other details he looked after where most would overlook. The flawless paint work by Jason, painter artiste, god it looks so much better in person. Jonny(truenosan), who put in long hours hunting down the numerous parts at was needed for this conversion, and painfully putting the interior back together. Then there's Andrew, who quarterback this project, always there to answer any questions and work out any issues. I have a very good experience with the result due to the excellent team work that is Fasttrack autobody.

with all these work, are you going to do a complete Elwin? Might as well do a color change to make it even more special!

Front fenders are just gonna be stock bugeye ones. No front end conversion, I'm one of those rare people that likes the bugeye front end.

Don't be so cheap. $95 and they're worth it IMHO. You really don't want to put them on when the fenders are already on, trust me.

Oh, straight from TiC, they're really good guys. I guess I shouldn't say "don't be so cheap" but that's less than the ferry for me these days, and I really noticed a difference with them. You running any rear strut brace?
