Looks great, but I'd be hesitant to use a bent tube AL fitting that close to the hotside, especially considering the turbo has no blanket.

You beat me to the install. I picked up my Full Race kit at their shop today. Hauled it 7 hours back home and took it out of the box to admire it. The quality is like nothing I've seen in the Subaru world before. I'll post pics soon. I won't have time to install it for probably 2 weeks though.

use a steel or AL Forged 90 fitting. and blanket it. Otherwise if you really have your heart set on a bent tube fitting use a steel one, and use teflon lines (much more heat resistant than rubber). Ill post pictures of my setup, as I have a unique one that showcases my thoughts/eccentricities well;-) |

How do you plan on filling the system with no upper coolant resevoir? I made a banjo block and simply capped the turbo coolant lines and retained the upper coolant resvoir.

We have used the main radiator cap in some of the cars we did. Has not really been an issue. Top off the radiator, then top off the coolant reservoir.

I hadn't considered removing the reservoir. It's ok to just cap the coolant line on the head? I was going to create a bypass but if I don't need to I'll just T everything and cap the line on the head.

The line going to the head is tee'd into the other ones, it can still flow just no more gravity feeding coolant tank for the turbo...There's four lines on the upper coolant tank one of them is an overflow line , that one gets deleted and the other three get tee'd

I am fairly certain the only point of the coolant reservoir is because the turbo is the high point in the system without it right? If his turbo no longer needs coolant there is no more need, should be able to fill it from the radiator cap like a normal person.

I know a place right by my house that does great ceramic coating, for a decent price you should get your hotside done.
