That DW300 might be a little small for your goals. Pick up a Walbro 465, it'll keep up better

This is the setup Motion Lab suggested for e85 so I just bought them Pump is installed. Just waiting for to get a couple sensors and a couple random bits before I can assemble the motor. I might do a fuel cell and get another pump anyways. I'll just have to see. I had a Walbro 255 w/ ID1000's on my HTA 3076 and 264/264s; they kept up at 24psi (436whp).

Well that's your issue. You took advice from lotion lab. Never take advice from lotion lab, I've yet to see a fast car they've turned out. |

260 @ 80psig. I can use it as a feeder to a surge tank and run another pump from that. I've gone way off topic lol I just wanted to know what cams the dude had and to compare setups lol |

BW S200SX-E 7670 (S257SX-E)
Event: Dyno pull Location: PURE TUNING, Toledo, OH Ambient Temp: 84* F Elevation: About 615 ft Weather: Warm Wheels/Tires: AD08R 245/40/17 Car: 2005 STi Mileage: 2300 miles on engine Tuner: Keith Franklin Dyno Info: Mustang Peak HP: 429 Peak Torque: 377 Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: unsure Target Boost: 24psi Target AFR: 11.6 Fuel: 93 unleaded Tranny: 05 STI 6MT Engine/Power Modifications: Moore Performance built longblock (8.9: CR), Moore Performance twinscroll kit, Borg Warner S200SX-E 7670 65 lb/min twinscroll 1.22 ar housing, single Tial 44mm MVR EWG, ID1300's, 3" downpipe and catback, 3.5" intake, FMIC, and other supporting mods. Software: Cobb Speed Density Protune The tune was yesterday and the results are in! 429whp/377wtq on 93 octane at 24psi, hitting target boost at 4100 RPM on a 1.22 AR hotside. The area under the curve is incredible and the way the torque and power come on and hold on impressed us all. Keith at Pure Tuning in Toledo is great, and the Moore Performance Parts twinscroll setup is awesome with the power and response it allows. The car wanted more but I wanted a relatively "safe" tune. We saw a 19whp increase when going from 24psi to 25 psi but we dialed it back a little. Keith said torque will jump even more at higher boost as well, providing a more square set of numbers, which is what I was hoping for. Still, at 377ft-lbs it doesn't feel sluggish or laggy. With race gas or Cobb FF (we'll see about that one) it'll break the 500/500 mark easily. That can wait until I start to get tired of this setup and want more. I want to give a huge shoutout to my family, friends, Moore performance, and everyone else who had a hand in this build. It's been a long and rocky road to get here but it's finally paying off. I'm excited to finally be able to enjoy the car again. Video of one of the pulls, I don't think this was the highest boost pull but it was the cleanest video I got: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJfMKItyv-I |

Do you mind me asking what the kit cost, header/up pipe/down pipe? Just curious. I'm doing a spool valve to try something new I'm just curious in case I switch if it doesn't work how I want it to

It's definitely an awesome setup, I still can't get over how quickly the boost and power come on and stay on with the big hotside. Their design has features that account for this, and all I can say for now is that it works, and it works well. |

I was worried about the single hate being a problem and why I didn't originally go with the kit

They've done dual gate and single gate uppipes, both work. I went with a single 44 as it's plenty for the boost levels I'll be running and the packaging is a little nicer.

Me too. Unfortunately it won't be till fall. The car is pushing coolant under boost so unless Dewey wants to test it on his car first I won't know until then

Here's some pics of my EFR9180 single scroll setup.
Internal gate was welded shut as we're using a Tial V Band external gate. Motor is a 2 litre CDB stroked to 2.1 with in house ported heads, Supertec valves and 280 duration cams. Fuel used was a 60/40 mix of bioethanol and pump fuel, had to stop there boost wise as the 1400 sidefeeds were maxed out. We have 2 extra 1200s fitted in the back of the plenum to be utilised when the new ecu which has extra injector drivers goes in later this year. Mapped by myself on Alcatek engine management. |

Little late. But right now on my setup on pump 93 on dyno jet 507hp 434trq with tomei regulator,id1300s and 255 and doing just fine. I am adding a arenmotive fpr,iag lines and rails soon and retuning. Just to keep idc a little lower but it's only 75% right now. Just getting it set to actually use the 7670 to full potential or if I switch to the 7064 I have plenty of fuel for e85 after another pump is added. |
