Haha I know that one (we kinda did the same a month ago against a Suzuki with a GT-R ... Mitch screaming again as I kinda fly over 260KM/H on a ****ty road so the car jumped in the air but he wasn't the only one screaming lol) ... I've been knowing Mitch for something like 5 years now ... it's always fun to travel with him for this kind of stuff (we've been to different place in the caribbean, italy, monaco, cannes...).

The step from it to the S362 or 300 series is pretty amazing as far as the size.

I am holding back on S259 with billet wheel till i build my motor. I am not even using my S256 to it's potential, but so tempting.

That turbo doesnt look too small at all... Looks great along side the cosy! You don't want too big, my 91-79 is about as big as I would go I mean anything past that and it's "hey it's that guy with the turbo bigger than his motor, I heard if you get too close it will suck you in...".

Yup, my S366 is a little smaller on the exhaust side than the above mentioned 91-79 and I am still worried about how it will spool on a non-avcs motor. I guess we will see one day here soon. Tdagen, are you running non-avcs as well I guess?

Was thinking it was more like 10 lbs more. I thought the S259 was in the 62-63 lb range and the S362 was in the 73-74 lb range.

Yes I am running a ej257 bottom end with 02 wrx heads stock ports ect...i'm going with 7500 rpm redline..... I am hoping my lean it out nice on spool up method until right before tq peaks will help me get it spooled ... I was thinkng of running a fine screen on the turbo instead of filter to try and help spool but I think the gains will be negligable so I am going to throw a k&n filter of some sort right onto the turbo like bilyk's setup....

How much and how big of a pain in the ass is it to install? Also really how much faster spool are we going to see with this billet wheel, and dont think its going to give you increased power. But than again I am truly a novice when it comes to Turbo dynamics.

If it is truly a 62-63 lb turbo its better than I thought, thats why I choose this turbo because I didnt want a laggy GT35 and didnt want a weak GT3082R for this built engine.

Does BW make stock location turbos for Subies and if so is there a list that tells which part # and flow rate?

Easy to install...send off to Bullseye, they install it rebalance the turbo and ship it back As for spool and power, you should see a slight increase in spool and a mild increase in power. It is partly the aero of the wheel, partly the lighter weight of the wheel.

Hmmmm, might have to do this than! Any increase of power and spool is a winner. These Borgs already spool very fast so much for not being Ball Bearing. Journal Bearing FTW.

You will have to give me a ride in that auto this summer! You guys going to the 1/4 at all this year? I bet you could lay down some serious times... Such a light and powerful ride...

Ben

Ill have some results here in about a week or two. Engine just got being built and is in the break in period.

UPDATE- I guess Clark Tuner did some tuning on my car and said the turbo is Laggy. I dont know what to say because this turbo should not be laggy at all. I just want to see the logs but Im in the stan untill the 21st of this month before I can get my hands on them. Really wondering why this turbo is considered laggy.

I have the .70 housing. I wouldnt be suprised at all if clark just didnt like the turbo because its not a Garrett turbo but he said he can get at least 420ish on AZ 91pump out of this turbo. A conversation I had with him about a year ago just gave me the impession he thought the days of the journal bearing turbo where done. Any way the dude can tune. Ill give you guys my impressions when I get back.

Hmm, we had a 70 on a S362 and were able to hit 25-26 psi by around 4200-4300 in 4th on the street....and that is a bigger turbo.
