Cart Images?
Hi, I'm looking for images of the engines used in the Cart Serries cars. Any pictures will do, I just need some to use as a reference. I'm looking specificaly for 2000, but it doesn't matter too much what year they are.
I've been looking for about half an hour online with no luck. I'm building a model, starting with the Revell Rehal Reynard 2000, but I'm realy just using the engine from that car. I'd like to add more detail than Revell felt was needed for the model, but need some reference images. Thanks -Silas

I always wondered why they put those mats over the front and rear wings when the cars are in the pits?!?!

I was under the impression that they did that because they don't want the competition to know what settings they are running.
Anyone else? Mike |

The covers on the wings are largely used to 1)place tools on, and 2)cover the specific set-up the team is using for that particular session. I know it sounds trite, but it really just keeps the wings from getting beat up. See www.nelson-motorsports.com--that is the car we use covers on.

The best site I've ever come across for CART pics is:
http://www.indyphoto.com Just go into the Photo Gallery and search for 'engine' or something like that. Don't know how many you'll find of engines though, they mostly have car and drivers photos. |

Hey, Shib thanks. You too Subie Gal, I'd already found those sites, but that archive from Shib helped alot.
-Silas I always figured the black blanket thing was sort of like putting the sheet of a Parakeet's cage, it's there to keep the car from getting frightened. |
