Default My RHD swap bugeye progress

about two weeks ago i started my RHD swap on my bugeye. Havent had much time to work on it because of work and the holidays but here are a few pics of the progress. hope to have it done in a few weeks. Sorry for the bad pics I forgot my camera in my tool box.

Looks like a lot of work. I had a real jdm Honda and it was a blast. Rhd subi is 1000000x better though!

You shouldn't have to. The holes on the wrx firewall are the same on both sides, look again. The only thing you should really need to do is drill four holes around the passenger side wire harness hole for the new brake booster location.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Here's my finished firewall, they are formed the same but not all the holes are cut the same, so I found it easier (and cleaner) to just cut and weld sections of the firewall. (btw this is a v4 firewall).

i drive a RHD legacy all the time. Its not as much fun and cool as you think. Good luck on blind left hand corners.

^all you do is punch it to 50mph, rip a J turn, throw it in reverse and burnout through the toll throwing the exact change at the employee as you proceed to reverse J turn back into traffic/forward gear continuing to burnout.

That is how JDM does USDM

i will when i can get better shots. they are split down the middle so it is super easy

i found it from elite JDM. I could have looked around and sourced some parts for cheaper but this way i knew i was getting everything down to all the little nuts and bolts. On a side note EWG setups are harder to come by for RHD....hint hint hint

you are correct.....also have to use old clutch master hole for the heater hoses and drill hole for new clutch slave and steering

i drive a silvia all the time...Its not bad and i also dont plan on driving this everyday
