Be sure to leave the center piece for the screw. Watch out how you cut the left side out. I didnt cut it out at an angle and mine is not as strong as it could have been, had I cut it at the corret angle. (I'll have to add pics.)

What TT are you using. I havent had time to research one yet.
I'm looking for one with the same color display as the clock. The
clock is on the right side.

i've got the hks type-1 mounted in the blank spot to the left of the cupholder....but, at night time, if you drive with 2 hands, everytime you turn the wheel the display pops out from behind your hand and is super annoying & bright...i wanted to relocate it to a different area.

i need the part number of the plastic center trim piece that has the hazard button & the 2 vents on it.

Unscrew the (2) cup holder screws, then take out the cup holder, then just stick your fingers at the bottom of the vents and pull out. Then find the part # on that piece. It will take you 2 minutes

PS, Just unplug the flasher switch for it to come all the way out.

WRXard,
Can you post or send me some better pics of what you did to mount the clock in there. I cant really see what you cut or how you covered it up.

Thanks,
Dustin

Default Measure Twice Cut Once

I priced that part about 2 weeks ago and uuuhh it goes for about $94.00 IIRC. So my advice to you is really think about what you want to do with it and take your time cutting. Unless you can make friends with the mechanic at your local dealer and get some of the ones they have laying around. Every time they have a customer that orders the carbon fiber trim kit guess what happens to the ones that came from the factory.

MikeWRX: I actually had cut that piece to the left of the cup holder out already and now I want to move it somewhere else. Thanks though man.

Subie Nut: I actually do know one of the mechanics at my dealership, so I will ask them for it...That's a good idea man, thanks.
