Mike that would be training for our drive to CA later on this year, or to moab if we go directly from here. Oh yeah....... nothing like 40+ hours of straight driving.

We made a trip to Daytona one year for spring break on a whim.. It was a friday night in March, started snowing and was cold as all hell. Saw something on MTV about the scene in Daytona. In 20 minutes our bags were packed and we were on our way down. The ride down was awesome, the ride back sucked hard. The driver was hanging out of the window puking from a night of serious drinking. Me, never having driven stick before, was forced to learn how to drive stick in a crappy pickup on I-95 in traffic. I'd have given pro rodeo riders a run for their money. I vowed to myself to never do that drive again.

But it was a good learning experience for you, jimb. And now you have your Scooby w/ a 5-speed.

I'm not sure if I can make it... but it sounds like great fun and I'll try my best to get there.

I feel bad for any cars behind the big Mitsu, they will get chunks of mud thrown on their car from the huge mud tires.
