Get Stroked (Compilation of stroker motors here)
Can we post proven power stroker output here in sum? I for one would love to see a variety of proven power stroker out put whether it be 2.1, 2.34, or 2.6 or 2.7 in one thread. Those fools in exterior can manage to post up and keep a thread alive, it would be great if this could follow suit.
It would be most helpful to see a variety of examples and setups in one place and especially if anyone has 2.1l with head work and big turbos, and cams. No Hybrids............all about strokers I know motion lab, wicked innovations, and maxwell power have examples........can you please post them here. Thanks

I think he was running 27-28# when the motor took a permanent vacation.
A very similar motor will be put in my brothers car. RexFTW's setup was ridiculous |

In 3rd gear, 20 psi was at ~4100 rpm, 30 psi at about 4700 rpm based on this old log I am looking at. In 4th gear I have logs of 20 psi at 3600-3700 rpm, 30 psi by 4100. This was my old 4th gear airboy. Note I swapped out a lot of parts and did weight reduction so I didn't know exact weight so I estimated what I thought was high and low weight for the car which is the two lines. Actual power would be somewhere in between. Edit: In looking back at the log I made that picture from that wasn't even the finished tune. It is about 3.5-4* of timing off. Excited to see the 205 variants stack up in here as the 2.5 based ones aren't of interest to me AT ALL. |

What took out the motor and could you give a guestimate on the torque increase from 2.0l to 2.1 soley based upon a bare bones 205 (stock with good compression)......increase of 40lb/feet? |

I am not sure which failure came first but I have found 3. One of the pistons had a ringland failure, all four pistons had cracks like this on both sides of the skirt on the intake side of the piston, and two of the sleeves had cracks forming. I don't know what of the failures caused other failures (cracked pistons from too much power causing too much friction on the sleeves cracking them, causing heat spots making easy detonation to kill a ringland?) or if they were each from different things. I just pushed it too hard for too long on cheapy budget parts, but the thing was amazing for what it was. Edit: If I had to guess on the torque difference between a 2.0 and a 2.1 I would say the butt dyno registers it at about 1/2 the difference between a 2.0 and a 2.5 but I had AVCS to help as well so not quite half but definitely significant. It is hard to quantify it exactly as a lot of things impact torque output and I changed a LOT all at once going from stock ej205 to stroker with v7 heads. |

Built and mapped 2.1 strokers aplenty, here's just a sample of some of them.
All kinds of turbos and head/cam combinations. |
