Why is this even in PBB? I don't see a dyno sheet or results for the 7670. This looks more like a build thread.
If your going to title it 7670 at least have some results. Last edited by project_skyline; 12-16-2011 at 03:19 AM. |

30 years ago this thread started off as a 35r with moore(I think?) TS manifold. Now 30 years after BW released the EFRs he finally got his and then wanted to fix the suspension. His numbers will come waaay before more EFRs get shipped out anyway.

Did you get the ones with heim joints? Your blog has pics of arms with bushings but some look like they're heim.
Also I read your blog and have a question about the valves. I know DOM blueprints everything so I dont question the workmanship, but did you learn anything about why the valves warped? Was there insufficient lash (not that it was done wrong but that more lash would have been better)? I'm sort of leaning toward your old head piston package for my car and just wanted tips. |

he was on a tighter budget before and used POS BC Valves and springs. By POS, I mean COMPLETE PIECE OF ****. Those parts are so substandard that it blows my mind that anyone even uses them. I didn't know how bad they were when we first started using them, but after more experience with them... yuck. Plus, regular stainless exhaust vales is a bad idea anyway on a car making this much power. I'll only run Ferrea Stainless exhaust valves and even then I won't run them on anything more than 30R. |

I've been making trips down to the machine shop and was told that the spring pressure (BCs) also doesn't always match advertised spec. Good to know. |

The original thread was titled something like twin scroll 35R....
Results were posted from that setup. He has since changed his setup and renamed the thread accordingly. In the meant time if you wanted results that bad I suggest you build a 7670 car in the next few days and test it, I would love to see the results! |

did you prime the system a couple times by turning the key off and on a couple times letting it build pressure that you bleed out when you took the pump out.

And yes, it can be a PITA to get DW300's to prime, for whatever reason. I had to pull my feed line in the engine bay and put it to free air (IE, no FPR demanding pressure) before I could get the pump to prime. Once the feed line between the tank and engine bay were filled, I was A-OK.
