i think this list was before the bigger turbo.....iirc its a borg warner s-10,000,000. I had to squat and use 2 hands and all my quads to pick it up.

heres the info ali posted before

ali, you owe me $20 cause i saved you from typing all that again

Here is a quick video our friends just put up of the pass from the finish line.
He shot it on his iPhone!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qxo2iglTtnI

Regardless, thanks for the kind words and here's some answers to your questions.

A full detailed build sheet will be provided to the new owner, but off the top of my head..

Our Subaru is a 18 time NHRA championship street class car with national NHRA Championships in 2006 & 2007. It is based off a 2005 subaru wrx sti with and updated 2007 body.

Engine is a single turbo, 4 cylinder Subaru 2.5 liter creating over 1000HP.
The internals are customized using proprietary sleeves, oiling and other Kroyer and Cosworth race components. Standard bore and stroke since we have yet to find a benefit to stroking the engines. Utilized custom head work with Ferrea valvtrain components.
Turbo is Innovative, and the size changes from 66 to 72 as restricted by class. Wastegate is Innovative
Exhaust is all custom ESX
All electronics are MOTEC
Transmission is a customized 4eat with a reverse manual valve body and equipped to use a transbrake if desired. (however due to class rules, the transbrake is inoperable)
Custom torque converter built specifically for this engine by Pro Torque
B&M Shifter and B&M trans cooler
Axles and driveshafts are Mark Williams and The Driveshaft Shop and utilize other custom CVs.
Diff's are all stock.
Peterson oiling components
Fluidyne radiator
NOS (HOLLEY) nitrous system full controllable and up to 250 HP
Deist safety equipment, belts, net.
Fire extinguishing system onboard.
NHRA certified chassis in Oct. 2008 and good for 2 more years I believe, with parachute.

The car is a 3200 lb street car. I actually gave 4 people rides in it at our Subaru of Santa Monica road rally and grand opening two weeks ago. You can find the link on youtube.
it has a 100% full interior, with power windows, all seats, horn, wipers, w/o a/c or cruise control however.
runs on full exhuast and usually BFGoodrich drag radials, but this past weekend we put Mickey Thompson drag radials on it for the first time.
And they sure worked good!!
The car is currently insured and registered in California.

regarding records, I'm pretty sure it's the quickest and fastest Street Class Subaru in the world. It might be the quickest and fastest Subaru on street radial tires as well, but I'm not sure. It's most likely the first GD body Subaru in the 8's and the worlds fastest STI. But agin on some of these you guys might know better then I do. I believe our pro Subaru which was sold to Australia last year, was the fastest All Wheel Drive Subaru in the world. Here's a video of us testing it a few years ago.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncYdlNsZyCA

and here's a video we found on youtube of the new owner painting it gold...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SODawQPAGx4

Anyway, for more detailed info, please feel free to email me directly as i"ll try to respond asap. [email protected]

If any of you guys helps us sell this car, we'll try our best to give you a couple thousand dollar commission. (if that' legal?? I'll check with our attorney, regardless, we'll do something to say thank you)

Thanks again for all the support!!

Ali

Jon has helped build and tune this car, actually jon has helped with almost all of our esx cars at one time or another.

The main tuning is done by Nathan at Motec and James Lynn. Both guys are great motec tuners. car runs a M800 Motec system

for your viewing pleasure..

You've seen our slower Subaru.. now here's the faster one..

first link is us testing and it ran an 8.02

http://www.youtube.com/user/ESXmotor.../6/5UKFr_9_gfI

the second link is it's first 7 sec run. you can't really see the time, but it did.
It's ran a best of 7.91 a couple times back in 2006.. I think it's time we built a faster one.. maybe with the new 2011 STI Sedan body coming out..

This car has the same eng and trans as our street car, but with a bigger turbo, transbrake, 1000lbs less on slicks... and not really a true sti body.. since it's a carbon fiber full tube chassis race car.. but still AWD

now this is a great video.

From my good friend and awesome driver Gary Sheehan at Subie Fest last year. We did a exhibition drag race, where I gave the GST car a 10 car head start. now we obviously knew we were going to win since our car is a championship drag car, but when I saw the in car footage from Gary's car, it was a blast. Btw- the GST car is awesome and I think it runs 10's in the 1/4 while being a hard core road race car... big thanks to them for letting us have fun in our car that just goes straight!!
