Well I paid $24,600 before tax and registration for a base sedan with locking lugs as the only option in WR Blue today. I could have done better but I was sick of running between dealers and this was the only car within a hundred or so miles of me with in this configuration in WR Blue. Can't wait to pick it up!

Sounds like you got a killer deal! Did you order or was it on the lot?

Little high imo. Most people are around 2-3 % with good credit. Did you try a credit union?

It was on the lot. The problem was that there were very few base models around me that weren't black, white, or the darker blue. I had narrowed my color choice to silver and WR Blue. A lot of cars in those colors were Limited or Premiums, or were base models loaded with options I didn't want. Maybe they're at a point where they're starting to think about clearing out the 2013s, but to my knowledge the 2014s are still a long way off so I doubt it, but I really wasn't expecting to get money off the car like that. The dealer documentation fees were another $288 but that's a standard fee they charge on every deal.

As far as interest rate, Subaru's finance company is at 2.9% if you have at least decent credit. The 2 credit unions I'm a member of are currently offering the same rate.

Looking for a few opinions on a recent quote I received here in Jacksonville, FL. I was quoted $36,639 for a 2013 STI 5-door with NAV, home link mirror, STS, wheel locks and SPT exhaust. OTD price is $39,894.53 (taxes are a whopping $2,283.03). Please take a moment to PM me or respond as I am running out of time to make this decision. Thanks!

Still looking for some real world insight into the above. Any thoughts would be appreciated as time is running out to order 2013's.

29,5 for a premium with a short shifter? Lol they ripped off an employee big time, he for sure isn't getting any discount

Let me know what you end up paying; I agree that the term is a bit long but do you, it's your life. I'm hopefully picking up a '13 limited w/ nav and putting 12-15k down and hopefully I can negotiate them down to about 25k or so. It doesn't hurt that my friend works there. But remember, money talks so you'll get a much better deal with a hefty down payment

Just ordered a 13 wrx base model with short shifter and a few other upgrades got it for 27k. Put $12k down 60 months. Suppose to be in march 20!

Was quoted $28,561 before tax, title, fees, for WRX Limted with Homelink, armrest extension, all weather mats, and illumination kit. According to Truecar.com this is a very fair price, and I'm definitely satisfied with it. Does this seem like a good deal to everyone else?

The only thing is that there is a $299 Documentary Fee that seems to not be for anything. Is this something worth fighting or is my deal on the car good enough to just forget about it?

Accessories: short throw, mats, cargo tray, auto dimming mirror with homelink
MSRP: $27292
Price before tax, title, and dealer doc: $25139 using the IMBA VIP program
Cash purchase so no financing details

Next Subaru dealer is 5 hours away so I felt good about price and not having to fly and drive.

Please tell me your parents are helping you out even if I know nobody usually admits that. No way I could have been even close to own an almost 30k sport car while I was a student with a part/full time job. And i'm not even bringing insurance and car mileage in there. I'm now 35 with very good remuneration and we drive the same car. Hope you realize how fortunate you are.

WRX Hatch Premium Rally Blue for invoice ($29.3 after tax/tags). $11.4 trade in and $7k deposit. Interest rate will be 3% but Subaru said they might be able to give me 2.5. I won't know until it comes in.

Should be here in June or July.
