I have these on my RS. They are easy to install and definitely make the front end feel tighter!

i havent tested them on a forester so i am unsure about fitment, your best bet is to look and see if you have a stock brace, or holes in place for one.
braces will begin coming off the mill on monday and i will start shipping next week, this weekend i will start taking payment for next weeks shipments. |

Ugg...I finally got mine installed.
I didn't jack the car up... I didn't remove the wheel... I didn't remove the fender... I didn't even completely remove the fender liner (didn't even remove the top bolt...) But they are in after one hour of pain and strange contortion I have a 2 finger gap between my tires and my fenders and that was just enough to force my fat wrists up in there to get at the bolts. The hardest is the topmost, but with a straight (read non-angled) 14mm wrench, I managed to pull/push really hard and break that bolt. Sliced myself open in a few places on the metal edge of the fender, and mashed a few knuckles too Went for a drive and flung the RSTi around a few cloverleaf's and s-turns. The front end definitely feels more square. I guess what I originally thought was body roll was really the chassis flexing up front. I'm on 8/6 coilovers, so those springs are certainly stronger than the stock wussy braces. Thanks, -- Dave |
