Brackets to relocate the Brembo caliper
And either: Oversize park brake pads or DBA rotors made to fit the smaller park brake drum. |

The 114.3mm PCD hub has a larger mounting face so the current stock rotor wont fit over the hub. We should have some more info soon. Sample's on a plane from Japan. |

The EVO X also weighs 3500lbs... maybe there's a reason it needs that extra rotor material...

Just to clarify, for the '06/'07 WRX with 2-pot rears used the 170mm parking brake, correct? So the '06 backing plates will work with the stock 170mm brake on my '01 2.5RS, and I can bolt the 2-pots right on with working parking brakes?
Thanks! stoke |

was part of the 02-to-03 WRX brake change a change in the bracket bolt thread pitch? In other words, on my early '02 car the 17mm bolts that hold the front caliper bracket onto the hub housing are 12x1.25 pitch. Did subaru change to a 12x1.5 pitch for the '03 and up?

I highly doubt it, FHI bolts are typically JIS and for 12mm this means 12x1.25

I think the brembos and possibly 4-pots have a different pitch but I'd assume all the sliders are the same.

So from what I gathered from reading the entire thread, and just for clarification...
To swap (06-07) 2-pot rears onto an 02 wrx wagon, I would need the (06-07) 2-pots, Kartboy brackets, (06-07) rotors, and compatible pads? That's it? I wouldn't need the (06-07) backing plates if I had the Kartboy brackets? Therefore I wouldn't need bearings and all that extra jazz that I really don't feel like trying to attempt? Correct? Thanks a mil, this thread is exactly what I was looking for!!! |
