Looks like you need quite the alignment.

As with most a lot people on here, I am really confused as to what wheel and offset fits best on my car. I am looking for the best fitting wheel in a fairly aggressive size like 9 or 9.5 inches, but I am want to do the least amount of modifications possible like spacers and rolled fenders.....but I realize that I will most likely have to do some sort of modification based on the set up I chose. Just looking for some insight please

year: 2010
model:STI Hatch
wheel model: WANTING to run Enkei RPF1 or ROTA T2R
wheel size/offset: 18 x 9 et 35, or 18 x 9.5 et 38 or et 45 for enkei, 18 x 9.5 et 38 for the T2R
tire brand/model: not sure yet
tire size: 255/35/18
suspension: stock for now, looking at drop springs first, dont want to low
alignment: stock for now
fender mods: pretty sure I will have to roll my fenders
spacers: 9in wide, yes? what size; 9.5in wide obviously for et 38, but what about the et 45 on the enkei rpf1?

Any wheel gurus can put in theri input, for this wheel fitmet newbie, I do appreciate it

Erik

well now ive got a different idea...

in my previous post i asked about the rpf1 in 18in sizes...now i think im gona go with a -1, 17in size since i plan on setteing my car up to autocross. from what i have read, 17 x 9.5 or 10 is a little bit lighter in unsprung weight at each corner. i plan on running a 255 or 265 tire, and most likely have to roll my fenders.

and from what i have gathered, 17 x 10--no spacer...17 x 9.5 requires a spacer, but what size exactly??? im not sure yet...plus the i will save some money on wheels and tires, but still have the aggressive look im going after...

any advide is greatful

erik

year:2009

wheel model:Enkei EKM3 (Gunmetal or Silver not sure yet)
wheel size/offset: 17x7 +45
tire brand/model: Goodyear GoodyearEagle F1 Asymmetric 2
tire size: 225/45 R17

fender mods:stock
spacers: no

I guess I want to change the tyres to a more sportier look than stock. I am going for this size, so I can keep everything else stock.

Or could I got all the way up to a 245 and get a good "stance"? I dont mind rolling my fenders.

I would do a 245/40 if I where you, but it will require a decent roll

read the thread.

next time, maybe you should do a little research before ordering parts.

You sir are correct again! Man your a genius!

This fitment has been done before without stretching your tires!! Try putting some tires on it that actually fit as well

What tires in 205/* aren't stretched on a 8.5" wide wheel?

I wasn't talking to you, but on a 8.5 a 205 would be a little stretched. I ran a 235/40 on my 8.5
