Default Issue(s) With Having an Exhaust Leak?

In short, I know I have a slight exhaust leak where my Helix catted DP and Greddy EVO2 CBE meet up. I verified this a while ago when the car was idling and I had my hand over this area.

In any event, what are the impacts if any with a leak there? My car seems to run fine and makes good power. I've been too lazy and busy to see if it was possible to get the CBE and DP to line up better somehow.

'04 4EAT "Stage 2" WRX Wagon; tuned with aforementioned leak. I've had the AFR read by a wideband in the DP by the turbo, and also at the tailpipe while on they dyno.

Post turbo leaks aren't a big deal, they don't hurt power any, they can just be a little annoying in he noise department.

Throw some liquid gasket on the flanges and you should be all set.

That's what I thought and is the reason why I haven't gotten back under there to address it, let alone post this thread asking. Fortunately for me I was right.

Thanks!
